This episode will include interviews with prominent local citizens, including historian and author Edith Fae Cook Cole, Klaus Duda, Don Ramsey, and Buddy Hare, as well as historical photographs of old-time Crosby. The episode will also feature a segment on the history of the Houston Colt .45s baseball team, Houston's first major league baseball team. The episode will air on Sunday, October 4, at 4 p.m., and will rerun the following Friday, October 10, at 1:30 p.m. on Houston's Channel 55. Word is they were caught shorting gas at the pumps. Don't know if this is true, but whatever is going on must be serious.
Article in the Star Courier tried to put this rumor to bed. Word is (according to the New Lessee's), the Old Lessee decided to quit at the end of his lease and just closed everything down...hmmm, that does sound reasonable, but the timing of the closing and the announcements about the busting of several stations, including one in the Crosby area, makes for an interesting coincidence...

This way you can see which way your neighbors are leaning...at least those that are willing to voice an opinion. The list is from most liberal (not sure who made that list) to most conservative (Ron Paul??). Anyway, maybe we will see which way the wind is blowing around here in the Crosby area.
