| Answer | | · Who operates this website? I do! And in anticipation of your next question, my name is Jim Nelson. I am a resident of Crosby since 1988. My Dad was born here in Crosby, went to school here, graduated from high school in time to go off to war - WWII. My great grandparents moved here with their children in the early 1900's. So I have roots here and alot of kin that I don't even know about. My wife and I raised 3 boys here in Crosby and they all graduated from Crosby High School. We still have 1 son at home that is currently attending Barrett Primary. [ Back to Top ]
| | · Why did you start this site? I am a Realtor by profession and I talk to alot of people about Crosby. The idea for this website came out because I got to thinking about how to communicate information to anyone that might have an interest in Crosby, not just about real estate, but everyday activities, such as the Community Center activities, the Cezchfest, school events, & all the other happenings in and around our community. This site was born out of that idea. My sons have helped me with the technical side of getting a website up and running and to them I owe much thanks. But that was and is the reason for this site - to give you and everyone else that has an interest in Crosby a handy place to get as much information as you could want. Also, to give you a place to share with others about events or activities that you are aware of.

| | · What's in it for you? Not much. I did not start this site to make money and so far I have done a good job at that. Mostly what I get out of it is the satisfaction of seeing what was a dream, become a reality. Not many people get that opportunity! I am still dreaming though as to how to make this site better and I am constantly looking at new ideas to incorporate into this site. My goal has been and will always be to make this the #1 source of information for the Crosby area. I want people to save this site in their favorite places and daily look at it to see what has been added, to answer a question, or just to get information about what's happening in Crosby this week!
