New Port POA Closes Stables

Just to let everyone in Crosby know. New Port's Board of Directors and Management, in a closed meeting, decided to close the stables. This means they can close any aminety in the community at any time without a vote from the residents. I think they are getting to powerful for comfort.

We no longer have any rights in New Port. And their new POA is a joke if you need anything.

Quadruplets Abandoned!

A Mother, single and alone, left with the responsibility of raising a set of
quadruplets on her own. Abandoned by the father (whereabouts unknown)
and after two months of struggling by, mom thin as a rail, had determined that these precious babies are ready for new homes.

" Kittens " are ready to go to warm, responsible and loving homes only please.
We have 2 calico/tabbies-female, and 2 black/brown tabbies male.

Postcards from Texas (KTBU-TV, Houston's Channel 55), a Houston-area history TV show, is excited to announce that an upcoming episode will feature a segment exploring the history of Crosby, TX. This episode will include interviews with prominent local citizens, including historian and author Edith Fae Cook Cole, Klaus Duda, Don Ramsey, and Buddy Hare, as well as historical photographs of old-time Crosby. The episode will also feature a segment on the history of the Houston Colt .45s baseball team, Houston's first major league baseball team. The episode will air on Sunday, October 4, at 4 p.m., and will rerun the following Friday, October 10, at 1:30 p.m. on Houston's Channel 55.
